Terms of sale and use
Plain terms for a plugin you install on your own site: what you get for the license fee, what happens when it lapses, and what we are and are not responsible for.
What you are buying
An annual license to use the WPNeedleFlow plugin, priced at $350 per year. The license covers one studio business operating on one website, with unlimited staff logins, unlimited artists and unlimited locations on that site.
You are licensed to use the software. You do not own it, and the license is not transferable to another business without our agreement.
What the fee includes
- Every feature in the plugin. There are no paid add-ons and no upgrade tier.
- Updates for the license year, delivered through your WordPress dashboard.
- Support for the license year, through your account.
It does not include card processing fees or text-message costs. You connect your own Square, Stripe and Twilio accounts and pay those providers directly at their rates. We never take a percentage of your sales.
If the license lapses
The plugin keeps working. Your bookings, your register and your records carry on. A lapsed license stops updates and support — it does not lock you out of your own business, and it does not delete anything.
One license, one domain
A license activates on one domain. The plugin sends that domain to us when it activates and again on every daily check, so a key running on a second site is visible to us. Unlimited staff, artists and locations all apply on that one site.
Moving to a new domain is fine and free — deactivate on the old site, or ask us and we will release it. A staging or development copy is fine too; tell us and we will not count it against you.
What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense, or run the plugin as a service for other businesses. One license is one business. Multiple locations of your own business are fine and always will be.
- Share your license key, or run one license on more than one domain.
- Remove or alter the licensing code, or redistribute the plugin.
Bans are permanent
If a license is banned for breaching these terms — typically a key shared across domains, resold, or used to send messages to people who never agreed to receive them — that ban is permanent. The license is not reinstated, and no refund is given for a banned license.
We do not ban for honest mistakes. A key you accidentally left active on an old domain, or a staging site you forgot about, is a conversation, not a ban — write to us and we will sort it out. Bans are for deliberate abuse.
Your data and your responsibilities
The plugin runs on your hosting. Your database, your backups, your responsibility. We strongly recommend you keep working backups — the plugin handles money and appointments, and no software removes the need for a backup.
You are responsible for how you use it: for the accuracy of your consent forms, for meeting the age and record-keeping rules where you operate, for your tax settings, and for what you send to your customers by text or email.
Text messages and the law
The plugin records consent and handles STOP replies, because that is what the law requires. Those tools do not make us responsible for your messaging. You are the sender. Do not text people who have not agreed to be texted.
No warranty beyond what we say
We build and test this carefully — every release goes through an automated suite before it ships — but no software is guaranteed error-free. The plugin is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond those we cannot exclude by law.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost bookings, or lost data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You may stop using the plugin at any time and simply not renew. We may end a license if it is being used in breach of these terms — resold, shared across unrelated sites, or used to send messages to people who did not agree to receive them — and where that happens we will tell you why first, unless the breach is deliberate.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when. Changes that materially affect existing customers take effect at your next renewal, not mid-term.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, United States. WPNeedleFlow is sold to customers in the United States.
